That's a big Twinkie...

I had my first Twinkie last week, despite having been aware of their existence since I saw Ghostbusters aged nine. Twenty seven years later and I have to say the experience was not entirely unpleasant. Sickly sweet cream in a cardboard tasting cross between a doughnut and pastry, but entirely edible nonetheless. @JoeScaramanga on Twitter quite rightly said "Twinkies have that weird ability to be both revolting and utterly gorgeous at the same time."

In any case it made me think of Ghostbusters once again, and I knocked together this t-shirt design

I've also added it to Qwertee in the hope people might vote for it and get them to print it in one of their supercheap 48 sales. If you like it why not vote.

As regular(?) visitors to my site may have noticed..

Yes! There's been a bit of a redesign and tart up. I started this over the weekend thinking it would be something that I could do very quickly. And here it is, 2.20am on Tuesday morning having finally finished tweaking. Ah well, I'm quite pleased with the results of my pointless mucking about.

So, for those who are interested - updates on the home page are now done automatically via Posterous. Which means, should I ever want to, I can update the website by phone. Yay for mobile technology. In any case, the code I'm using to channel this rss feed through is available for free from here - and very simple to set up it is too http://www.blastcasta.com/add-news-to-your-website.aspx

To be honest, I don't expect I'll be "blogging" (as I believe the young people have it) from this page very much, but I will be occasionally updating with news and stuff.

On the Gallery page I've used some nice code from http://highslide.com/ to display the images. Again, simple to set up and tinker with.

And as a general recommendation, if you are of a graphic design frame of mind - the sticky tape brushes in photoshop are available to download, to my mind very generously, from http://www.fuzzimo.com/category/free-stuff/ - The stuff on this site is free, even if you're using it for commerical projects. A very nice thing to do, so if you do download and use anything from Antoniu's site, please do leave a comment.

Anyway - please get in contact if you have any feedback.
